50th Wedding Anniversary

I feel so bad that I haven't posted anything on my blog for a long time. Been sick, spent some time in the hospital (migraine) and well, time flies by....

Well, my parents-in-law is celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary tomorrow and of course I had to make them a card. ...and a magic card it is.... You can find the tutorial HERE. The inside is just decorated very simply. On the front I have painted a cardboard heart and the fram is really in silver but is painted with white paint. Used some cheese cloth and voilà!

I found this awesome sketch to work with over at Less is more. So - this card is made for their challenge and I decided to make a card for love. The card is perfect for a number of occasions, such as wedding, valentine or just as a love card for someone.

Less is more {silver embossing}

Embossing er egentlig en ganske stilig effekt, men av og til så glemmer jeg at det fins.... Teksten, som forøvrig er fra Kort og Godt er embosset i sølv. Litt vanskelig å se på bildet kanskje, men sløyfen er laget av sølvfarget bånd og kantene på kortet har sølvfargede streker.

Embossing is quite a cool effect, but sometimes I just forget that embossing excists..... The sentiment, which is embossed in silver, is from Kort og Godt. It might be difficult to see, but the ribbon is in silver and on the edges of the card there is silver lines.

Da kan jeg vise frem bordkortene jeg laget til min nieses bryllup. Laget 74 av disse og litt jobb var det jo men en ære og bli spurt om å lage bordkort til bryllupet!

Just wanted to show you the place cards I made for my nieces wedding. I made 74 of these and it was a lot of job but an honour to be asked to make these!

Card made for a 50th wedding anniversary. The card is made for an order and I don't get to do this very often so it's kind of fun. Thoug it would be perfect to emboss the image in gold.
